John Bowis OBE – Advisory Board Member
John is hanover Brussels’ first advisory board member. Drawing from his outstanding experience and knowledge of key EU policy areas such as healthcare and environment, John supports our team and our clients with high-level strategic and tactical advice.
John served for ten years (1999-2009) as a Conservative Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for London. During his time as MEP he was among others the coordinator for the European People’s Party in the Parliament’s Environment, Public Health and Food Safety Committee and a member of the Temporary Committee on Climate Change.
Prior to his time in Brussels, as a UK MP, John served as a minister in the areas of Health and Transport.
