Patrick is an independent senior European public affairs adviser specialized in climate & sustainability. With more than 12 years of experience, he works with multinationals, trade organizations and governments with an interest in driving policy change, building/preserving a reputation, or managing issues.
Patrick is also a partner at World Climate Ltd (WCL) whose mission is to accelerate the development of the global green economy by enabling collaboration among business, financiers, philanthropists and governments to identify and implement at scale the needed policies, investments and partnerships. WCL has organized the World Climate Summits in Cancun and in Durban, and is host to Richard Branson’s Carbon War Room “Gigaton Awards”- also dubbed as the Oscars of climate change.
His previous role was as Head of the Brussels Environment & Sustainability practice of leading global communications firm Weber Shandwick. Patrick holds an MA in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick. He is Dutch/Vietnamese, native in French, fluent in English, and speaks better Spanish than Dutch.
